  The hotel was beautiful and in an amazing location, unfortunately the food was a disaster throughout. We arrived and ordered some lunch,for the accompanying fries to come out cold. We asked for them to be changed and instead they came back re fried full of grease and only slightly warm. Dinner that evening we were sat for one hour before our wine and water arrived, which came once we finished our starter.Despite us reminding the waiter several times. When our mains finally came my chicken was cold and my girlfriends side dish too. This was after nearly 2 hours. We left and although the manager refunded our meal, three tables next to us received the wrong dish, raw chicken and no drinks also for an hour. It was a shambles and will prevent us returning unfortunately. Charlotte the front of restaurant was amazing but even her charm and professionalism couldn't hold the mess together. So shockingly bad for a 5 star hotel. When we complained the following day the lady on the desk just looked and said, 'funny we had so many complaints last night', with no apology and just brushed it off and handed me the bill.

  1. The hotel is located in a remote location. So getting to any other major part of the island takes a bit of time and is expensive. So this resort works to stay for a few days away from it all

  2. The food left a lot to be desired. The resort needs to up its game significantly. Add more tapas. Add more choices. When people say for 3-4 days, the same small menu gets old quickly. The taste wasnt upto par either.

  We loved the location. The view from the resort was spectacular. Our room was fabulous. The plunge pool, the hammam, the jacuzzi. It was brilliant.

  What a wonderful break we enjoyed. A return to the Hacienda was long overdue. Still has the same charm and magic. The restorative food and facilities left us feeling refreshed. As ever the staff really do the Hacienda owners justice. It still feels like a family run business but all were so professional, kind, fun and genuinely give the impression of enjoying their work and making guests feel welcome.   What a lovely resort. One of the best places i have ever visited. It is like paradise with an amazing panorama, the food is delicious, very friendly staff. Will I ever go back? Definitely.. Highly recommended
